Task Force – A Crisis Management Method, but Not Sustainable in the Long Run. Or Is It…?
Last week we had a joint session with the PMI Sweden Chapter. Jonas Harris gave a presentation on how to work on a task force in a sustainable way. The key message is that “Yes, it is possible, using Scrum in combination with traditional project management methods”. It was a very engaged audience interacting with Jonas througout the session.
Jonas shared his insights from experiences in organizing cross-functional product teams with clear goals and authority. He had found that it’s possible to boost both productivity and employee motivation sustainably.
Over the past decade, we’ve learned to combine project management with Scrum as an agile framework for developing hardware-centric products. By establishing numerous cross-functional teams with clear mandates, we’ve demonstrated that it’s feasible to enhance productivity and motivation.
Thank you PMI Sweden Chapter for the cooperation with the seminar.
